Join us for a night of innovation, imagination, and intrigue as we celebrate our newest exhibition, Saks Afridi: SpaceMosque.
Imagine this: around the turn of the millennium, mysterious vessels appeared over cities around the world. Each looked different depending on who saw it, and it seemed to do something extraordinary. People’s prayers were answered. One day, the vessels suddenly vanished, and the world forgot.
SpaceMosque pieces that story back together through recovered artifacts, sound, and archival traces. The exhibition blends sci-fi with a metaphysical journey, and it blurs the lines between technology, architecture, memory, and faith. Along the way it takes on spirituality, desire, and morality, and leaves you with one big question: “If all your prayers were answered, would it change the world, or just yours?”
The evening will feature a special address by multidisciplinary artist and award-winning creative director, Saks Afridi.
